Last Updated: October 8, 2025
This SMS/Text Messaging Privacy Policy describes how Compassionate Caregivers Home Care (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when you opt-in to receive text messages from us.
1. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our SMS messaging program, you expressly consent to receive informational and service-related text messages from Compassionate Caregivers Home Care at the number you provided. These messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology.
Messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, service alerts, and occasional information about our services. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or services.
2. How to Opt-In
You may opt-in to our SMS program by giving clear verbal consent to a Compassionate Caregivers Home Care staff member, either in person or over the phone during the client intake process. Consent can also be provided by signing a physical or digital consent form. Upon receiving your consent, our staff will document your authorization and enroll your provided mobile number in our system.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency will depend on your scheduled services and appointments. You can expect messages such as visit reminders, caregiver schedule confirmations, and important service updates.
4. Cost and Carriers
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your specific plan. Compassionate Caregivers Home Care is not responsible for any charges from your carrier that may result from our SMS program.
All major mobile carriers are supported. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How to Opt-Out (STOP) 🛑
You can opt-out and stop receiving text messages from us at any time. To do so, reply with the word STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also text STOP to 614-710-0078.
After you text STOP, we will send you a confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to join again, please contact our office directly.
6. How to Get Help (HELP)❓
If you need assistance, reply with the word HELP to any message you receive from us, or text HELP to 614-710-0078. You can also contact our office directly at 614-710-0078 or info@ccgrhc.com.
7. Data Privacy and Use
We understand the sensitive nature of home care services and are committed to protecting your privacy. Your mobile phone number will be used solely for the purpose of sending you the text messages to which you have consented.
We will not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share your mobile number with our trusted third-party service providers (e.g., SMS gateway providers) who assist us in delivering the messages. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose. We may also disclose your information as required by law.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure.
